THE ARCHIVE: Various band business cards (1967-1969)

The names of these bands all working in Birmingham and the Black Country shows the Blues influence of the mid 1960s period. The Williamsons were named after Sonny Boy Williamson – a Mississippi born blues harmonica player who died in 1965. The Who included his song ‘Eyesight to the blind’ in the rock opera Tommy.
