Cathy Myhill (pictured with her husband Pat) designed the poster for a Black Sabbath gig on 2nd March 1970 at Birmingham College of Art and Commerce (as it was then known), which they are holding. Pat booked the gig in his capacity as social secretary and they both worked on the “liquid lightshow” that was in full effect on the night. In the oral host clip Cathy describes designing and printing the poster.

The gig was a complete sell out. Both Cathy and Pat remember it as one of the loudest gigs of their University lives. More tales from the night to follow
