I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Ronnie, Tony and Geezer several times and collected their autographs on my original vinyl copy of Heaven and Hell. I never met Bill but a friend’s uncle is Paul Clark who was Sabbath’s road manager in the early 80s .

Ram It Down Leather Waistcoat. This history of this waistcoat is not as clear. Rob can’t recall who exactly made this for him, although once again, it will probably have been Ray Brown. The ‘Ram it Down’ album release was followed by the ‘Mercenaries Of Metal 88’ tour. Ray Brown is credited on his site as being the clothing designer for this, and other, Priest Tours. It could have been worn at the Powerhouse, Birmingham 12.06.88, when Priest played there.

I met Dio and Vinny at their London hotel during the last ever Heaven & Hell (band) UK dates when they signed my original copy of Mob Rules. That was the last time I saw Ronnie.

This is a school picture of me and my brother from about 1984. Just visible is my Black Sabbath T-shirt and his AC/DC one. Though I was only 9 at the time I can clearly remember asking to be bought the T-shirts while we were on holiday in Blackpool, or was that Bridlington? At that time I don't think either of us particularly owned or listened to our own music and I'm pretty sure we didn't know who Sabbath or AC/DC were so the only explanation I have for wanting those shirts was because they looked cool! Mine had a picture of the grim reaper on the front and his a man being electrocuted. 26 years later though and I can honestly say I love Sabbath and can't think of a cooler picture of me as a kid...well there is that one of us in Scarborough standing with Darth Vader.
