Judas Priest ‘Jugulator’ tour ticket. This ticket is from their gig at Wolverhampton Civic Hall, Sunday 12th April 1998. This was the first tour for their new singer at the time, American vocalist Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens.
I was at this show! On the barrier throughout. What an amazing gig it was. I had first seen them on the painkiller tour in March 1991 and was so was apprehensive to see them with a new singer after robs exit in 1992. Ripper didn’t dissapoint and the band were as good as ever. His vocal range matched robs but brought his own edge too. My voice was hoarse for days after singing along all night. I also had the amazing luck to meet ripper and Scott on the way home when me and my friends stopped at services. I got them to sign the cd cover. Great guys they are. I am still a huge fan of the band and saw them live at High Voltage last saturday. Rob is now back fronting the band but sadly KK has now left them. Richie faulkner is doing a great job of filling in and i am pleased to say the band are the best i’ve seen them for years. Long live priest and Long live metal!
