The Birmingham date on this tour was brain-meltingly loud and went on forever. I remember crawling out of the Irish Centre, very disorientated, at about 11.45. I think that it was the Manchester date where Loop came out first, and played a couple of Godflesh songs, then Godflesh played, then World Dom, then Godflesh came on again and played a Loop song (think it was Soundhead), maybe another one, then Loop played their set. This was the sign of the Clawfist Loopflesh / Fleshloop single, and opened the door for Robert Hampson to eventually join Godflesh for Pure.
