Music magazine The Wire report that Napalm Death will be teaming up with a sculptor to create an avant garde performance at the amazing De-La-Warr Pavilion in Bexhill.

“This month, Napalm Death will perform with ceramic sculptor Keith Harrison at Bexhill-On-Sea’s De La Warr Pavilion. Harrison has built a wooden sound system and filled the speakers with clay. The grindcore group will play live through the system, destroying the clay and affecting the sound produced. The event is free and takes place on 29 November. The event will be streamed live from the DLWP via Youtube. Follow the DLWP on Twitter for announcements.”

Earlier in the year we reported on the V&A museum’s invitation to Napalm to perform at the museum surrounded by ceramics, that would shatter during their performance – but the performance got pulled as the band were deemed too loud. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen again!
