It’s said to be one of the rarest rock T-shirts in the world. This Led Zeppelin T-shirt was sold on Ebay last week by Kyle Ematinger of Stormcrow Vintage to an anonymous Australian for an astounding…
$10,000 (£6,100)!!!
The T-shirt served as a backstage pass for a 1979 gig at Knebworth. Ermatinger met the creators of this limited edition tee and purchased this one for $125 (£75)!!
“When I got the sale notification, my jaw hit the floor“, Ermatinger said. “Given this shirt may be one of the only ones in existence, the price tag is completely justifiable. It’s a rock relic, beyond rare. Admittedly, I still frequently pinch myself.“
So we’re all off to the many charity shops of Birmingham to find ourselves a hidden treasure and we’re sure we’ll see you there!!
More than 40 years, Led Zeppelin remains as the great Father of Heavy Metal.
