We’re really sad to hear the news of Kerrang! Radio’s departure from Birmingham. Owned by Bauer Media, the station will cease its FM broadcast from the Birmingham studios and relocate to London as a digital station. Read more about the changes here

Kerrang! Radio have been hugely supportive of the Home of Metal campaign, and we’d particularly like to thank Johnny Doom for his hard work on the project over the years, from launching the digital archive with Lemmy at SXSW in Texas, to hosting various Home of Metal events and even letting us loose on his show.
