Jaz Singh lives in London working for the Metropolitan Police and has been a huge Black Sabbath fan since the age of 16.
He speaks here in the year Sabbath came to an end and the year his life as a devout Sikh began.
“This is the end for them, and it’s almost like a new start for me, it’s like the end of what I was and a new start and I suppose it’s the same with Sabbath.”
He recalls growing up with religion and the discovery of Heavy Metal; sneaking off to town to buy records.
“I was a really naive, Sikh, little Kid”
Here’s Part 1 of Jaz – with more to come so stay tuned for our Home of Metal Oral Histories.
