‘Home of Metal: Heavy Metal and Place’ conference delegates with the Iron Man statue in Birmingham

Heavy Metal academics are counting down to the next conference in a series entitled ‘Heavy Fundamentalisms: Music, Metal & Politics’. The fourth conference will take place in Prague from Wednesday 9th May – Friday 11th May and is entitled ‘Heavy Metal Generations’.

The conference will feature papers from international academics, and will include speakers from Home of Metal’s very own conference back in September including Dr Niall Scott, Karl Spracklen, Toni Matti Karjonenen and Andy Brown.
