What a bummer all this was at the time…
What a bummer all this was at the time…
Check out the spelling on the HEADLESS CROSS picture disc album.
‘Devil And Daugther’ ! I would like to know if anyone has a copy with the correct spelling (Daughter). Now, that would be rare!
From my second time of seeing Black Sabbath.
Took me a while to get this off a window in Shirley High Street Southampton, and in the rain. Surprisingly in fair nick.
Only 100 pressed back in 1972. On the other side there is Status Quo with ‘Roadhouse Blues’. I bought this at a record fair in Brighton in 1980, for £15.
I won the BLACK SABBATH anorak competition (sure it was in 2007), and got a signed jacket from Geezer and Ronnie for doing so.
I have never knowingly seen a UK Vertigo copy of TECHNICAL ECSTASY or NEVER SAY DIE. Would love to know of if they exist, or if they don’t!
Various formats and releases of the debut album. Different labels and countries etc.
Three hundred plus Sab vinyl albums (with a few 12 inch singles…)
Managed to get this off some railings outside the Hammy.
Phoned on and off days before the gig to check it was still on. Never got an answer, so just went for it. Gutted when turning a corner to see ‘BLACK SABBATH CANCELLED’ !
Hey ho…
